Job Description
blue Stone has been retained by a leading healthcare organization to assist in their search for a Certified Epic OpTime Analyst. This is a long-term contract opportunity located in the greater Louisville area in Kentucky.
Responsibilities- Build collaborative relationships between Informatics and operational users to ensure optimum design.
- Optimize key business processes, analyze and articulate current state workflows and barriers to optimization.
- Analyze business requirements and develop design specifications.
- Assist in workflow process changes with strong understanding of software, operational workflows, and governing policies and regulations.
- Lead and facilitate user groups to participate in and governance of clinical and revenue cycle software.
- Work with operational managers to define and articulate reporting needs, communicate requirements, and participate in data collection.
- Advise others on design and configuration for routine to medium complex solutions.
- Design and implement highly complex solutions across multiple departments or software modules.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university, or equivalent experience.
- Epic OpTime certification.
- 1 to 5 years experience in healthcare operations, clinic, or hospital.
- 2-3 years experience in Epic system configuration.
- Minimum 1 year supporting electronic health record users;
Epic experience preferred. - Self-directed, collaborative, able to elevate issues appropriately and communicate clearly, with strong attention to detail.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio). Advanced Excel skills preferred.
- In-depth understanding of clinical practice standards, legal and ethical principles, patient safety, health care evaluation and outcomes measures.
- In-depth knowledge of departmental/clinical operations, workflow, policies, and procedures. Experience with continuous quality improvement principles and applying these skills to organizational change.
