Position Summary
The TAS is a critical role in our unique customer model to execute the BMS aspiration to be the Bio Pharma that delivers the most impactful engagement with Health Care Providers (HCPs), driving adoption of new and existing medicines for appropriate patients. The primary role of the TAS is to drive demand for BMS medicines within their portfolio for the appropriate patients.
To meet the HCPs expectations, the TAS engages them with a differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) through deeper scientific dialogue consistent with label, leveraging new ways of working and CE3. The TAS builds and maintains strong professional credibility with regional thought leaders and community‑based physicians/HCPs. The role is field‑based, spending most time in the field with external customers.
- Promotes approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory to meet or exceed assigned sales targets in a compliant manner.
- Creates demand for BMS medicines by articulating balanced clinical and scientific rationale.
- Maintains and grows scientific expertise in assigned products and therapeutic areas.
- Prepares and implements comprehensive territory and account plans.
- Uses tools such as SOPHIA to derive insights and inform call plans.
- Provides feedback on experience using these tools to leadership.
- Conducts in‑office presentations and discusses product information with HCPs consistent with label.
- Organizes external speaker programs, selects speakers from approved list, facilitates scheduling and logistics.
- Gathers and shares relevant insights internally with stakeholders.
- Collaborates with other field teams and ensures best Customer Experience (Cx) for HCPs.
- Complies with all laws, regulations, and policies that govern BMS conduct.
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience in healthcare sales, MSL, HCP, or nursing.
- Excellent communication of scientific or clinical data to physicians.
- Demonstrated experience building credibility with key customers and office staff.
- Experience in cardiovascular preferred.
- Strong account management skills and proven sales performance track record.

Field – United States – US $124,090 – $150,370
