Job Summary
Med Pro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for assignment in Louisville, Kentucky. The assignment starts on 03/23/2026 and lasts 13 weeks, with 40 hours per week on 10‑hour night shifts.
Responsibilities- Provide assistance with patient care in the Interventional Radiology Department and technical support to the IR team.
- Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting.
- Operate conventional, fluoroscopic, or radiology equipment to obtain images of designated body parts according to physician specifications.
- Assist the physician by monitoring, passing instruments and catheters, observing patient response, maintaining a sterile field, and interpreting diagnostic data.
- Assure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accepted practice guidelines.
- Deliver quality, cost‑effective patient care in a professional manner.
- Maintain an environment of excellence that is patient‑focused, timely, compassionate, and quality oriented.
- Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.
- Current license in good standing.
- Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
- Eighteen months of Special Procedures / Interventional experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
- Other requirements to be determined by the client facility.
