The Payroll Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day‑to‑day payroll for our U.S. operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, compliance with federal and state regulations, and management of payroll staff. This role requires an analytical thinker with excellent leadership skills.

How You’ll Create Possibilities

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the end‑to‑end payroll process for all U.S. employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of payroll specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure seamless payroll operations and resolve any payroll‑related issues.
  • Review and improve payroll procedures and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Handle complex payroll inquiries and issues, providing solutions and recommendations.
  • Prepare and distribute regular payroll reports to management and relevant departments.
  • Oversee administration of ancillary benefit reimbursements (e.g., tuition reimbursement, adoption assistance, etc.) to ensure policy compliance and timely payments.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers related to payroll processing and compliance.
What You’ll Bring to Our Team

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Learning agility, adaptability, accountability, follow‑through.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Expertise in payroll software and systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, etc.).
  • 5 years’ experience in finance, HR, or payroll management.
