Position: HR Generalist (Onsite)

We are seeking an experienced and motivated HR Generalist to join our team. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment and contributing across multiple areas of human resources. The HR Generalist will support daily HR operations, employee relations, recruitment efforts, compliance initiatives, and organizational development while helping foster a positive and productive workplace culture.

This position will work onsite at our production facility within commuting distance of Louisville.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and support core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management
  • Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Assist with employee investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data
  • Support benefits administration and employee engagement initiatives
  • Partner with leadership to support workforce planning and organizational goals
  • Assist with training coordination and HR program implementation
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (required)
  • Minimum of three (3) years of HR Generalist or related HR experience
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and compliance requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM‑CP, or equivalent) preferred
  • Experience supporting a multi‑department or fast‑paced operational environment
