Description
We are a growing CPG brand looking to expand our People & Business Operations capabilities. Reporting to the VP of HR & Business Administration, the People Operations Coordinator provides essential operational and administrative support across payroll, benefits, recruiting coordination, onboarding, and team engagement initiatives.
RequirementsKey Responsibilities Payroll & Benefits Administration
- Administer bi-weekly payroll in Paylocity for salaried team, ensuring accuracy of compensation, deductions, and reporting prior to VP review.
- Maintain payroll documentation and assist with reporting and audits as needed.
- Administer team member benefits including enrollments, changes, and open enrollment support.
- Serve as primary contact for routine payroll and benefits questions.
- Coordinate with external vendors to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Maintain accurate and up-to=date team member records within HRIS
- Prepare team member documentation including offer letters, job changes, and onboarding paperwork.
- Support compliance documentation and filing requirements.
- Track and maintain HR metrics and reporting data.
- Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Screen initial job applicants and coordinate interview scheduling.
- Assist hiring managers with candidate communication and reference checks.
- Prepare onboarding documentation and coordinate new hire orientation logistics.
- Ensure a smooth onboarding experience from offer acceptance through the first 90 days.
- Assist in administering performance review cycles, tracking deadlines and documentation.
- Help coordinate all-team meetings, team events, and internal communications.
- Support team engagement initiatives and organizational health efforts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in HR, payroll administration, or HR support role.
- Experience with HRIS systems (Paylocity preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a growing environment.
- Professional, discreet, and service-oriented approach.
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, scaling organization.
