Human Resource Coordinator
Job Location:
Louisville, KY 40213
Job Duration: 3 months
Shift /
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Possibly 1 day remote
Job Description:
- This position will provide human resources administration in the areas of employee data capture, to include but not limited to benefits administration, payroll, and facilitation of recruiting activities.
- Participates in benefits tracking and communication to include, change reporting, hourly compensation increases and employee communication activities (FMLA, STD, LTD, Paid and Unpaid leave, etc.)
- Assists as needed in organizational review, wage and salary proposals, salary planning, and employee development.
- Assists with EHS tasks and tracking as needed for the site
- Audit weekly payroll reports for accuracy
- Assist Talent Acquisition in recruitment efforts for nonexempt and manages any coordination of temporary employees, hourly employees, and co-ops
- Conducts new employee orientations; checks references; administers pre-employment tests
- Works closely with Human Resources Manager to develop effective employee relations and activities for the facility
- Responsible for community involvement activities to promote Top Worx among diverse groups and associations
- Assist HR Business Partner with resolving employee conflicts
- Assists in exit interview process
- Acts as witness, when directed, for meetings regarding disciplinary actions
- Helps to maintain company organization charts and employee directory
- Requires the upmost confidentiality and professionalism in all functions and activities
- Must be able to work additional hours to complete projects as assigned
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned
- BA or BS in Human Resources or related-field
- At least 2-3 years experience in a human resources role
- Ability to manage employee relations and events as directed by HRM
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Kronos, Oracle HCM
- Ability to manage multi-tasks and projects at the same time
- Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines
- Ability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- EHS experience is preferred
- Office environment supporting production
