Human Resources Generalist - State Hospital

Job Overview

Central State Hospital is seeking a full-time Human Resources Generalist. This position will primarily work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM until 4:30 PM, providing professional support in meeting the hospital’s recruitment needs.

• Schedule interviews with candidates and assist with conducting interviews.
• Perform reference checks for potential new hires and complete all required background checks, facilitate pre-hire drug screenings, and onboarding.
• Alert contractors of separation processes and staffing needs, if any.
• Provide employment verifications to outside inquirers.
• Support onboarding and hiring processes for all CSH staff.
• Assist in the HR portion of new hire orientation.
• Assist with the development and administration of programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the company.
• Perform random audits of files to ensure accuracy and remain in compliance with Joint Commission, Federal and State standards, including classification, compensation, and annual training.
• Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting as needed.
