IT Operations Support Specialist

Akkodis is seeking an IT Operations Support Specialist for a Contract with a client in Louisville, KY. Candidate must have strong IT operations capability to support plant‑floor infrastructure and mission‑critical manufacturing systems.

Rate Range: $30/hour to $38/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Candidate will provide hands‑on IT operational support across plant‑floor servers, networks, and core manufacturing applications.
• Responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues for infrastructure components such as Windows/Linux servers, AD/ADFS, and VM environments.
• The role requires supporting network devices including Cisco routers, switches, and software‑defined architecture solutions.
• Candidate will assist in maintaining and improving digital manufacturing systems like IIoT, mobility tools, and next‑generation error‑proofing platforms.
• Duties involve collaborating with cross‑functional plant teams to ensure high availability of critical applications and resolve system outages promptly.
• They will contribute to process‑improvement initiatives aimed at enabling lean, flexible, and future‑ready manufacturing operations.

• Candidate must have a technical bachelor’s degree or a related IT discipline aligned with infrastructure, systems administration, or network technologies.
• 3-5 Years of experience required.
• Candidate must have strong hands‑on capability with Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory/ADFS, VM environments, and Office
  365/SharePoint.
• Candidate will have practical knowledge of Cisco routers, switches, SDA concepts, mobility devices (Android/iOS), and plant‑floor automation exposure.
