Deskside Support Technician

Our client, a leading organization in the technology support sector, is seeking a Deskside Support Technician to join their team. As a Deskside Support Technician, you will be part of the IT Support Department supporting the technical needs of the organization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to troubleshooting, which will align successfully in the organization.

Deskside Support Technician

Louisville, KY onsite

• Support deployment of new computers and hardware setup
• Provide centralized phone support from Appliance Park
• Configure and set up printers and wireless devices
• Validate VPN functionality and transfer user data as needed
• Support Wi‑Fi access points and wireless devices, track support activities, and provide end‑user training

• Dell and Lenovo certified (Forum/SDS roles) or comparable experience
• Dell and IBM certified or similar experience (Sales Counter role)
• A+ certification or equivalent experience
• Minimum three (3)+ years of deskside support experience
• Strong knowledge of Windows XP/7/10 environments and Active Directory
