Akkodis is seeking an IT Support Specialist for our Louisville, KY based client to join their team.

Pay Rate Range - $25-30/hr on W2;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, and other factors.
We cannot do referrals or CTC for this role.

Position: IT Support Specialist

Location: Louisville, KY (35% travel to sites)

The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing day‑to‑day hardware and software support for restaurant locations, ensuring minimal disruption caused by technical issues and equipment failures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide onsite and remote support for restaurant technology environments impacted by hardware/software issues
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain BOH servers, manager workstations, printers, internet connectivity, wireless access points, phones, and POS terminals
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot cabling, TVs, and entertainment systems such as jukeboxes. Support implementation of new technologies and initiatives, including security cameras, Toast POS systems, and restaurant remodel projects
  • Participate in pre‑ and post‑cutover activities, including system testing and validation of applications and infrastructure
  • Collaborate with the help desk and third‑party vendors to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
  • Train restaurant staff on accessing and using various systems and applications
  • Maintain and support KDS expo systems, monitors, credit card readers, and POS terminals
