Introduction
LPL Financial is seeking a forward-thinking Vice President of AI Product Strategy to help shape the future of artificial intelligence–driven solutions across our organization. This role offers the opportunity to influence how AI enhances financial advisory platforms, client experiences, and operational processes, while supporting responsible and thoughtful innovation.
Job OverviewThe VP – AI Product Strategy will guide the development and execution of a cohesive AI product strategy aligned with organizational goals. This individual will collaborate across product, engineering, data science, and business teams to translate business needs into scalable AI solutions. The role focuses on delivering value through thoughtful planning, cross‑functional partnership, and continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities- Establish and communicate an AI product strategy aligned with business priorities and growth objectives
- Conduct market research, evaluate industry trends, and identify opportunities for AI within financial services
- Translate business needs and user insights into clear product requirements and roadmaps
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to support the full product lifecycle, from concept through launch and ongoing enhancements
- Promote responsible AI practices, including ethical considerations, governance, and transparency
- Define and track key metrics to assess product performance and impact
- Share product strategy, updates, and outcomes with leadership and stakeholders
- Stay informed on developments in AI, machine learning, and related technologies, and assess their relevance to the organization
- Support and guide teams in AI product practices, encouraging collaboration and knowledge sharing
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Experience in product management, product strategy, or related roles, including experience with AI or machine learning products
- Experience contributing to the development and launch of technology‑driven products in a complex organizational environment
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts such as natural language processing, predictive analytics, computer vision, or generative AI
- Ability to communicate technical concepts in a way that connects to business value
- Experience working with data, including awareness of governance and privacy considerations
- Advanced degree (e.g., Master’s or MBA)
- Experience with in financial services, wealth management, or financial advisory platforms
- Experience working in agile or iterative product development environments
- Strategic thinking and problem‑solving
- Collaboration across diverse teams and functions
- Clear communication and stakeholder engagement
- Adaptability in a dynamic, evolving environment

Pay Range: $ - $Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
