Job Description

The Software Application Specialist will manage the deployment processes of Motorola's public safety and command center software suite within complex software ecosystems for public safety agencies. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise and project management skills to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of the software applications.

• Information Gathering and Discovery:
  Lead operational assessments, business process reviews, and discovery events, interview subject matter experts, and document findings.
• Analytical Evaluation and Recommendations:
  Evaluate existing processes, identify improvement opportunities, and provide tailored recommendations for Motorola's solutions.
• Business Process Reengineering:
  Facilitate reengineering initiatives by analyzing workflows, recommending changes, and leading workshops to develop new processes.
• Training Development and Orientation:
  Design, develop, and deliver training curriculum, materials, and guides to ensure end‑user engagement and confidence.
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Facilitation:
  Define, coordinate, and lead UAT processes, ensuring requirements are met and documenting results.
• Internal Liaison and

  Act as liaison between technical resources, engineers, and project managers to communicate customer needs and adapt COTS software.
• Project Management Support:
  Partner with Project Managers and Program Directors throughout the project lifecycle to ensure timely delivery and adherence to scope and budget.
• Stakeholder Communication:
  Present analysis results and project updates to stakeholders with clear, informative presentations.

• 3+ years in Public Safety, Business Analysis, Field Service, CAD, Record Management Systems, or Jail Applications.
• Self‑motivated team player capable of working effectively with general guidance toward objectives.

• High‑school diploma, Associate’s, Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Project Management, or 3 years of experience in a Public Safety IT environment.
• Ability to obtain required background clearance.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely; employer sponsorship not available.

Target Base Salary Range: $75,000–$85,000 USD. Pay varies based on experience and qualifications.
