Course Evaluation Coordinator

Full-time, on-site position in Athens, GA. Salary up to $70,000.
Employment type:
Employee. FLSA exempt.
Working hours:
8am–5pm Monday–Friday.
The Course Evaluation Coordinator will support decision‑making and business process improvement through advanced reporting, data visualization, and analytics in the University of Georgia’s central course evaluation system. Responsibilities include coordinating reporting processes, developing dashboards, researching best practices, and supporting institutional data literacy.
Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications- Master’s degree preferred
- Significant experience in higher education
- Previous assessment or evaluation experience
- Knowledge of higher‑education business data domains
- Experience with PowerBI, data visualization, and SQL or other query languages
- Coordinate recurring reporting processes for the university’s central course evaluation system
- Prepare, compile, validate, and distribute course evaluation dashboards and reports each academic term
- Collaborate closely with the Registrar’s Office and other campus partners to support course evaluation operations
- Incorporate stakeholder feedback to refine reports, dashboards, and processes on an ongoing basis
- Ensure accurate, consistent, and timely delivery of course evaluation data and reporting outputs
- Create, update, and maintain dashboards, visualizations, and reports supporting Office of Instruction and institutional initiatives
- Support ongoing reporting needs by validating data, troubleshooting issues, and documenting processes
- Research emerging trends and best practices related to course evaluations, assessment, and higher education reporting
- Support institutional efforts to promote data literacy and informed decision‑making across campus
- Collaborate with campus stakeholders to interpret findings and communicate insights effectively
- Participate in departmental planning, meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support additional Office of Institutional Research priorities and projects as assigned
- Strong critical thinking and analytic reasoning skills
- Ability to understand, use, and explain data
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage simultaneous projects
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
