We are currently seeking a Business Intelligence and Visualization Specialist to serve as a vital contributor to the firm’s Data and Innovation Team by transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive smarter decision‑making across the firm. The role partners closely with stakeholders to design impactful dashboards, deliver compelling data stories, and help shape the firm’s business intelligence standards.

The ideal candidate is a strategic problem solver who thrives on simplifying, standardizing, and automating processes, can translate complex data into clear, actionable insights, and brings a collaborative mindset to brainstorming and team‑based problem solving. This position can be based in Cincinnati, OH;
Columbus, OH;
Louisville, KY; or Pittsburgh, PA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate business needs into analytics/reporting requirements, listing user stories, features, wireframes, metrics/KPIs, data sources, and detailed design.
  • Design and deliver interactive dashboards/reports that clearly communicate actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Contribute strategic thought leadership to shape the firm’s business intelligence vision and standards.
  • Leverage data visualization principles and tools to create visually impactful insights for decision‑makers, reducing the time required to interpret data and providing at‑a‑glance understanding of issues and actions needed.
  • Identify areas for data quality improvements and work with the data team and data owners to remediate.
  • Review and improve reports, dashboards and interfaces with minimal errors, continuously striving for excellence in data visualization.
  • Design, document, and implement technical processes to address business issues including data collection, validation, and querying.
  • Create and maintain documentation on data processes to facilitate communication across departments, provide historical records of actions and serve as a tool for training and development.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the data lifecycle by partnering with stakeholders and user groups to understand data needs and collaborating with the data team and owners to recommend and implement data management policies, standards, and business processes.
  • Convey complex data through compelling narratives, reports, and presentations that are accessible to leadership and other stakeholders using storytelling techniques.
  • Lead and manage data‑related projects from inception to completion, including gathering requirements, development, implementation, and training with cross‑functional teams including IT, Finance and HR.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies to ensure the firm leverages cutting‑edge solutions.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, information technology, or related field is required.
  • Minimum three years of experience in a relevant role using data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Sigma or similar tools to translate data into meaningful insights.
  • Proficiency with standard UX software such as Figma, Sketch, etc. strongly preferred.
  • Experience with and understanding of UI/UX principles and graphical design best practices.
  • High‑level proficiency with data management, analysis, critical thinking, and reporting.
  • Experience with SQL required.
