Electronic Data Interchange Developer

Ingenium Talent is working with a Louisville-based manufacturing organization in their search for a full-time Electronic Data Interchange Developer. This is a full-time opportunity offering a strong work-life balance and benefits. This role is responsible for building, enhancing, and supporting the client's Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) maps and transaction sets to facilitate reliable data exchange with customers and business partners.

All qualified candidates must be local to the Louisville, KY area as this role is required to be onsite daily.

• Monitor daily EDI operations, investigate processing errors, and resolve transaction failures or data inconsistencies to ensure uninterrupted business processes.
• Create, maintain, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server database objects, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, and custom SQL scripts.
• Troubleshoot and improve SQL Server performance by analyzing queries, optimizing indexes, and resolving database connectivity and performance issues.
• Develop and maintain data integration solutions, including automated imports, exports, bulk data processing, and data transformation between enterprise applications.
• Create, modify, and maintain label templates to support operational and customer-specific labeling requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar technical field.
• 3+ years designing, developing, and maintaining EDI maps and transaction sets.
• 3+ years of hands‑on Microsoft SQL scripting (SQL 2002 or later).
• 2+ years of hands‑on Microsoft C# development.
• 2+ years of experience with ERP applications preferred.
• Strong project management and coordination skills.
