Senior Supply Chain Systems Engineer (Tech Analyst)

Hybrid - 3 days onsite / 2 remote - Louisville, KY

6 month Contract (Option to Extend / Convert)

The Senior Supply Chain Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting supply chain IT systems at Papa Johns. This role combines technical expertise with deep supply chain systems knowledge to deliver innovative solutions that streamline operations, optimize business processes, and support organizational objectives. We are seeking a forward-thinking professional who is passionate about solving complex business challenges, leveraging emerging technologies, and driving continuous improvement across supply chain operations and systems.

• Collaborate with supply chain, IT, finance, and other departments to understand business and system requirements and deliver technology solutions.
• Estimate work effort, manage priorities effectively, and deliver on commitments with a high degree of accountability.
• Build, configure, and maintain supply chain system software and applications.
• Design and implement integrations between supply chain systems and other enterprise platforms.
• Identify opportunities to improve supply chain processes through automation, system optimization, and innovative technology solutions.
• Analyze complex operational challenges and design technology solutions that improve efficiency and business outcomes.
• Ensure the security, reliability, and compliance of supply chain systems.
• Manage and coordinate third-party development efforts to implement enhancements, integrations, and configuration changes within vendor‑provided software applications.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance, including bug fixes and upgrades.
• Create and maintain system, process, and technical documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience implementing Enterprise Supply Chain systems (e.g., WM, MES, People Soft, SAP, Oracle, etc.).

• Experience developing, supporting, and enhancing software applications, integrations, scripts, or automation solutions.
• Proficiency in SQL and/or No
  
  SQL databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with various integration patterns (e.g., APIs, SFTP, prebuilt integrations).
• Experience with Manhattan Systems (e.g., WM, TMS) a plus.
• Experience with Proficy Smart Factory a plus.
