Systems Administrator; HP NonStop

IDR is seeking a Systems Administrator (HP Non Stop) to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Louisville, Kentucky. This role involves managing and optimizing mission-critical HP Non Stop systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and security within a fast-paced environment supporting global gift card and stored-value programs.

• Administer and support HP Non Stop (Tandem) servers in production and development environments.
• Monitor system performance and availability; perform proactive maintenance.
• Apply operating system patches and software updates.
• Handle incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Manage backup and disaster recovery procedures.

• 5+ years of experience administering HP Non Stop (Tandem) systems.
• Strong knowledge of HP Non Stop OS, Guardian, OSS, and utilities (e.g., FUP, SCF, TACL).
• Experience with system monitoring tools and job scheduling (e.g., Net Batch, Auto Sys).
• Familiarity with security hardening, compliance, and audit procedures on Non Stop.
• Strong scripting skills (TACL, SQLCI, Perl, or Shell scripting preferred).
