ServiceNow Pre-Sales Consultant

Service Now Pre-Sales Consultant - Remote V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Service Now Pre-Sales Consultant. Service Now Pre-Sales Consultant partners with Sales and Delivery to design and position solutions that align customer needs with Service Now capabilities. This role provides technical leadership throughout the sales cycle, supporting customer and partner engagements, leading process and technical discovery, and delivering solutions that create measurable business value.

As a Pre-Sales Consultant you will define a detailed solution approach, identify roles needed in delivery, and outline rough timelines to support scoping and proposals. Acting as a customer advocate within Service Now, you will work closely with Sales, Delivery, and Resource Management teams to ensure customer requirements are understood and addressed. Responsibilities include solution design, scoping and estimation, and supporting the sales cycle through demonstrations, workshops, and SOW development.

The ideal candidate combines deep Service Now expertise with strong communication and consultative skills.

Education and Experience » Service Now Expertise: 3–5+ years hands-on with Service Now; strong knowledge of one or more modules (ITSM, ITOM, SPM, Sec Ops); understands best practices, architecture, and configuration vs customization. Pre-Sales & Solutioning:
Experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, or architecture; able to lead discovery sessions, design high-level solutions, define roles and rough timelines, and support RFP/RFI responses, demos, and workshops. Technical & Business Acumen:
Translate technical capabilities into business value; understanding of IT processes and enterprise architecture. Communication &

Skills and Abilities

» Preferred Qualifications Service Now certifications (CSA required; CIS or CAD preferred) Proven track record of implementing or consulting on AI-driven solutions within Service Now. Ability to design and demonstrate AI-enabled workflows and automation for customers. Experience in a Service Now Partner or consulting environment

Experience with enterprise integrations and data migration strategies Knowledge of ITIL, Agile, SAFe, or portfolio management frameworks Prior experience with SPM, ITSM, or ITOM implementations.

Key Responsibilities Solution Design & Positioning Partner with Sales and Delivery to design and position Service Now solutions that align with customer business needs. Pre-Sales Planning & Scoping Define high-level solution approaches, identify roles needed in delivery, and outline rough timelines for proposals and SOWs.

Provide input on effort estimates, dependencies, and risk considerations. Customer Engagement & Advocacy Support customer and partner engagements during the sales cycle. Serve as a customer advocate within Service Now, collaborating with Product Management, Leading Practices, and Training teams to ensure requirements are understood and addressed. Demonstrations & Workshops Lead tailored Service Now demonstrations and interactive workshops to showcase platform capabilities.

Facilitate discussions on processes, requirements, and best practices. Proposal & Documentation Support Contribute to SOW development, estimates, and formal proposals. Assist with RFI/RFP responses and solution documentation. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment on solution approach, delivery feasibility, and customer value. Help ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to delivery teams.
