Job Summary

Provides enterprise leadership for the strategy, delivery, reliability, security, and continuous improvement of Scion Health’s infrastructure services across hospitals, facilities, data centers, cloud environments, and Support Center locations. Leads managers, architects, engineers, and analysts responsible for network, cloud, data center, server, storage, backup, collaboration, endpoint, identity, telecommunications, and disaster recovery services. Ensures infrastructure services are secure, resilient, scalable, cost effective, and aligned with clinical operations, patient care, cybersecurity, business continuity, and organizational growth.

Functions
  • Develops and executes the enterprise infrastructure strategy and multiyear roadmap in alignment with organizational priorities, technology strategy, cybersecurity requirements, and financial plans.
  • Leads infrastructure modernization initiatives involving cloud adoption, automation, virtualization, network transformation, collaboration technologies, endpoint services, and data center optimization.
  • Establishes enterprise technology standards, architecture governance, service ownership, performance expectations, and operating practices.
  • Partners with executive, clinical, operational, and technology leaders to support acquisitions, divestitures, facility transitions, expansions, and enterprise transformation initiatives.
  • Builds, develops, and retains high-performing teams; establishes clear accountability, succession plans, career development, and a culture of service, reliability, security, and continuous improvement.
  • Directs enterprise services for networking, SD-WAN, wireless, internet connectivity, telecommunications, voice, data centers, colocation, Azure and hybrid cloud, servers, virtualization, storage, backup, recovery, identity, endpoint platforms, virtual desktop, print, Microsoft 365 infrastructure, and collaboration technologies.
  • Establishes and monitors service-level objectives, availability, capacity, performance, operational health, and customer experience measures.
  • Oversees enterprise monitoring, observability, incident, problem, change, configuration, release, patch, lifecycle, and asset management practices.
  • Leads response to major infrastructure incidents, ensures effective root cause analysis and corrective action, and communicates risk and service impacts to senior leadership.
  • Ensures infrastructure standards, architecture diagrams, configurations, inventories, procedures, and support documentation remain current and effective.
  • Partners with Cybersecurity to maintain secure infrastructure architecture, implement Zero Trust principles, remediate vulnerabilities, manage privileged access, strengthen endpoint and identity controls, and support incident response.
  • Provides leadership for infrastructure disaster recovery, backup and recovery, resilience, business continuity readiness, and recovery testing.
  • Ensures infrastructure services support HIPAA, HITECH, applicable CMS, Joint Commission, PCI-DSS, NIST, CIS, and organizational requirements.
  • Identifies material infrastructure risks, develops remediation plans, and communicates priorities, resource needs, and residual risk to technology leadership.
  • Develops and manages operating and capital budgets for enterprise infrastructure services, including forecasting, business cases, investment prioritization, and cost optimization.
  • Leads strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, vendor performance management, licensing optimization, and technology lifecycle planning.
  • Evaluates emerging technologies and service models and makes recommendations based on business value, risk, supportability, scalability, and total cost of ownership.
