Talis Group is partnering with a highly respected, full-service Louisville law firm to hire a Litigation Paralegal for its dynamic Product Liability Practice Group. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside seasoned trial attorneys and recognized industry experts in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
This full-time, on-site role offers a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule and an exceptional benefits package including Health, Life, and Disability Insurance, Vision and Dental, HSA, 401(k) with profit sharing, paid time off, and more.
Salary
: $63,000–$68,000, commensurate with experience.
- Obtain, review, and analyze medical records; prepare medical summaries.
- Conduct research using court databases and other online resources to gather case information.
- Prepare and organize materials for expert witness review.
- Review, analyze, and manage document productions.
- Summarize deposition transcripts and create detailed chronologies of key facts and documents.
- Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and case materials.
- Perform investigative research on opposing parties and expert witnesses.
- Maintain and update case calendars and deadline tracking spreadsheets.
- Experience in civil defense litigation required; product liability or medical malpractice experience preferred.
- Strong technical skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent multitasking, prioritization, and procedural compliance skills.
- Associate degree, Bachelor's degree, or Paralegal Certificate preferred but not required.
- Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory criminal background check.
