Isaacs & Isaacs Personal Injury Lawyers is seeking a Law & Motion Attorney to join our growing litigation team. This role is ideal for an attorney who enjoys the strategic side of litigation and has strong legal research and writing skills. The Law & Motion Attorney will focus on drafting and supporting litigation through motions, trial briefs, discovery responses, pleadings, and other complex legal filings.

This attorney will work closely with trial attorneys to develop legal arguments, strengthen case strategy, and ensure filings are prepared at the highest level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft and file motions, memoranda, pleadings, and trial briefs in support of personal injury litigation
  • Prepare and respond to written discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission
  • Conduct legal research and case law analysis to support litigation strategy
  • Assist trial attorneys with pre-trial filings, evidentiary motions, and trial preparation
  • Draft dispositive motions, motions to compel, motions in limine, and other complex litigation documents
  • Review and edit legal filings prepared by litigation team members for clarity, accuracy, and legal strategy
  • Collaborate with attorneys and case managers to strengthen case development and litigation strategy
  • Attend hearings and argue motions when appropriate
  • Stay current on relevant statutes, rules of civil procedure, and case law developments
  • Any tasks as communicated by management

Requirements
  • 5+ years of litigation experience
  • 2+ years of personal injury experience
  • Licensed attorney in Kentucky
  • Experience drafting motions, discovery responses, pleadings, and trial briefs
  • Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills
  • Ability to manage high volume of cases and deadlines
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Self-starter driven by long-term career growth
