Litigation Attorney

An established global law firm is seeking a motivated and experienced Litigation Associate to join its growing Louisville office. This is an opportunity to work within a premier litigation team handling sophisticated, high-impact matters from initial strategy through final resolution.

You will play an active, hands-on role in complex commercial litigation, collaborating closely with experienced litigators while taking meaningful ownership of cases. • Manage litigation matters from commencement through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other substantive filings.
• Propound and respond to written discovery.
• Gather and analyze relevant information from clients.
• Draft and argue substantive motions and briefs.
• Take and defend fact witness depositions with limited supervision.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategy and creative legal solutions.
• Deliver exceptional client service by understanding client objectives and aligning litigation strategy accordingly.

• 3–5+ years of litigation experience, including commercial litigation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cases on a day-to-day basis with increasing independence.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and build consensus.
• Commitment to teamwork and exceptional client service.
• Intelligence, initiative, professionalism, and sound judgment.
• Licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Judicial clerkship experience is a plus, though not required.
