Law & Motion Attorney – Immediate Opportunity

Full‑Time - Litigation Support Focus - Up to $150,000 compensation, depending on experience

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Law & Motion Attorney to join a dynamic litigation team. This role is ideal for an attorney who excels in high‑level legal writing, complex motion practice, and supporting trial counsel through strategic briefing and analysis. The selected candidate will play a critical role in shaping legal arguments, strengthening case posture, and elevating the quality of filings across the litigation pipeline.

This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys deep legal research, persuasive writing, and collaborating closely with trial attorneys.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft and file motions, memoranda, pleadings, and trial briefs supporting personal injury litigation and related matters.
  • Prepare and respond to written discovery, including:
  • Interrogatories
  • Requests for Production
  • Draft complex litigation documents, including:
    Dispositive motions, Motions to compel, Motions in limine
  • Other high‑level filings as required
  • Review and edit legal documents drafted by the litigation team to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with overall case strategy.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and case managers to enhance case development and strengthen legal arguments.
  • Attend hearings and argue motions when appropriate
    .
  • Stay current with relevant statutes, procedural rules, and recent case law developments.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management to support the litigation and trial teams.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active bar license in the relevant state.
  • Strong background in litigation, motion practice, or appellate work preferred.
  • Exceptional legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize multiple assignments, and produce high‑quality work under pressure.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with trial attorneys and support complex cases.
