The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the supply chain process, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, vendor relations, forecasting, and distribution operations. This role requires strong experience in food and beverage purchasing, ensuring product quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery while maintaining compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and experienced in managing supplier partnerships and inventory strategies within a fast-paced food and beverage environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end supply chain operations including purchasing, inventory control, warehousing, and logistics
- Oversee food and beverage procurement processes to ensure product availability, quality, and cost effectiveness
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, distributors, and suppliers
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements with suppliers
- Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to reduce waste, shortages, and excess inventory
- Analyze purchasing trends, forecasting data, and operational needs to support business growth
- Coordinate with operations, finance, and leadership teams to align purchasing and supply chain strategies
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies
- Track and improve key performance indicators including cost savings, delivery timelines, and inventory turnover
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Manage supply chain budgets and purchasing expenditures
- Resolve supply chain disruptions and vendor issues in a timely manner
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field preferred
- 3+ years of supply chain or procurement experience, preferably within the food and beverage industry
- Strong background in food and beverage purchasing and vendor management
- Knowledge of inventory management systems, ERP software, and purchasing platforms
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and supply chain reporting tools
