CSL seeks a Director, Distribution and Logistics to lead global distribution of biotherapies, vaccines, and plasma derived products. You will design and optimize end to end logistics strategy, ensuring compliant, temperature controlled storage and transport that meets stringent regulatory and GDP requirements. Partner with manufacturing, quality, and commercial teams to forecast demand, manage 3PLs, and improve service, cost, and reliability. Lead a high performing team, drive KPI based continuous improvement, and support global launches so life saving therapies reach patients safely and on time.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute global distribution and logistics strategy for CSL's therapies and vaccines
- Ensure compliant, temperature controlled storage and transport aligned with GDP and relevant regulations
- Manage 3
- PLs and logistics partners, including contracts, performance, and cost optimization
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and commercial teams on forecasting and supply planning
- Monitor KPIs for service, cost, and reliability; lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Oversee distribution network design, including warehouses, hubs, and transportation modes
- Ensure robust procedures for product integrity, traceability, and deviation management
- Lead, coach, and develop a high performing distribution and logistics team
- Support launch readiness and lifecycle management for new and existing products
- Manage logistics risk, including contingency planning and business continuity
