The company is currently hiring a Maintenance Technician
.
- Perform daily inspection of equipment.
- Refurbishes furniture and fixtures within guest rooms such as cabinets, tables, chairs, doors, windows and counters.
- Responds in a courteous manner to all guest questions, requests and complaints.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Diagnostic skills, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
- Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, meters and material handling equipment.
- Performs typical maintenance tasks to support the entire facility.
- Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
- Perform preventative maintenance procedures on building mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis.
- Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required.
- All other duties as assigned.
- High school or equivalent preferred
- 1-3 years of related experience preferred
- General knowledge of plumbing, electric, and/or HVAC preferred
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise in the work environment can be loud.
Physical Requirements- Regularly required to talk and hear.
- The position is very active and require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
- Frequently lift and/or move items over 75 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
