• Perform daily inspection of equipment.
• Refurbish furniture and fixtures within guest rooms such as cabinets, tables, chairs, doors, windows and counters.
• Respond in a courteous manner to all guest questions, requests and complaints.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
• Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, meters and material handling equipment.
• Perform typical maintenance tasks to support the entire facility.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
• Perform preventative maintenance procedures on building mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required.
• All other duties as assigned.

• High school or equivalent preferred.
• 1‑3 years of related experience preferred.
• General knowledge of plumbing, electric, and/or HVAC preferred.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level can be loud.

• Regularly required to talk and hear.
• The position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
• Frequently lift and/or move items over 75 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
