Maintenance Technician – Vetra thews

What You'll Do
- Complete apartment turns and make-ready work to prepare homes for new residents
- Complete work orders and address resident maintenance requests
- Perform general repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and appliance repairs
- Maintain apartments, buildings, amenities, and common areas
- Pick up and maintain property grounds to keep the community clean and curb-appealing
- Assist with preventative maintenance and property inspections
- Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies
- Participate in the on-call rotation
- Respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies when scheduled
- Follow OSHA, EPA, Fair Housing, and company safety standards
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous apartment or multifamily maintenance experience preferred
- HVAC experience required; EPA Certification preferred
- Make-ready/turn experience strongly preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and basic hand tools required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to walk the property, climb stairs/ladders, bend, kneel, and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Dependable and comfortable participating in a scheduled on-call rotation
