About the RoleTargeted HR Consulting is seeking an experienced Project Manager for our client, a fast‑growing construction firm specializing in complex commercial and industrial building projects.
The ideal candidate has a strong background managing large‑scale industrial or manufacturing facility builds and is confident overseeing projects from $500,000 to $50+ million from planning through closeout.

Key Responsibilities- Lead industrial and commercial construction projects from planning through completion
- Provide both tactical and administrative leadership across all phases of construction
- Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets, schedules, and financial performance
- Interpret and execute owner contracts, addenda, drawings, and specifications
- Prepare and negotiate agreements, revisions, and change orders with architects, engineers, clients, vendors, and subcontractors
- Lead buy‑out efforts, purchase project materials, and manage procurement
- Review, approve, and track submittals, RFIs, and project documentation
- Coordinate subcontractors and ensure accountability for quality, safety, and schedule
- Assist with monthly billing, project reporting, and forecasting
- Maintain proactive communication with clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction
- Mentor and guide project team members, promoting leadership development and accountability
- Communicate complex or sensitive information with professionalism and clarity
- Ensure adherence to all company, safety, and quality standards
- 5+ years of experience managing construction projects of increasing scale and complexity
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial or industrial construction
- Proven experience building industrial manufacturing facilities or managing projects $50M+
- Experience managing projects ranging from $500K to $2.5M
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business
, or related field - Proficiency with Microsoft Project
, Microsoft Office
, and Procore - Strong understanding of construction contracts, specifications, documentation, and labor coordination
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership ability with a track record of building effective teams
- Highly organized with exceptional problem‑solving skills and customer service orientation
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate, prioritize, meet deadlines, and deliver results
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship
- Experience in industrial/manufacturing facility construction (required for top consideration)
- Demonstrated success leading multi‑disciplinary teams and subcontractors
- Strong scheduling and budget management skills
- Advanced proficiency with project management tools and reporting
