Operations Manager, Program / Project Manager
We're seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead high-performance project teams, manage complex construction projects, and foster key relationships with clients, subcontractors, and the community. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of project execution from planning and scheduling to budget management and risk mitigation while upholding the highest standards of quality, safety, and integrity.
Supervise, train, mentor, and coach team members to build high-performance teams.
Provide continuous feedback and conduct timely performance evaluations.
Support career development of staff, fostering growth and maximizing job performance.
Client & Stakeholder Relationship Management
Develop and maintain strong client relationships to achieve trusted advisor status.
Promote involvement in the community and strategic relationship building.
Enhance and maintain relationships with architects, subcontractors, and vendors.
Project Oversight & Execution
Establish and manage the Master Project Schedule, ensuring on-time delivery.
Collaborate with the preconstruction team to support early-phase planning.
Lead QA/QC efforts and enforce compliance with quality standards.
Monitor and manage project budgets and financial reports.
Lead contract negotiations, pricing decisions, and risk assessments.
Ensure full compliance with Turners contracts and subcontract agreements.
Operational Excellence
Oversee field operations, engineering processes, and procedure adherence.
Champion safety by enforcing protocols and fostering a culture of safety.
Drive best practices in insurance, labor, and employee relations.
Internal Reporting & Communication
Lead Operations Review Meetings to report on progress and budget adherence.
Partner with Finance on pay application processes and timely collections.
Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of project execution.
Encourage adoption of emerging technologies to enhance project outcomes.
Ensure compliance with business ethics and corporate compliance programs.
Demonstrate and mentor staff on high standards of integrity and accountability.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in construction management.
Proven leadership and team development skills.
Strong knowledge of project budgeting, scheduling, and financial analysis.
Experience with contract negotiation and risk management.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in construction management software and project tools.
Commitment to safety, quality, ethics, and client satisfaction.
