Position: Regional Director of Nursing

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Regional Director of Nursing. The RDON is is responsible for ensuring clinical compliance, overseeing operations and ensuring each building is managed to the projected budget. The RORD will report directly to the President.
Essential Duties- Reflect the Core Values and Core Focus of TCSL and embrace and utilize EOS
- Work closely with EDs and conduct a weekly meeting for your region
- Conduct mock surveys and audits in your buildings to ensure readiness for state survey
- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices and state regulations
- Utilize YARDI to verify clinical information is correct and scorecards are being met
- Interview, hire, coach, train and evaluate and discipline all EDs and DONs in your territory as needed
- Oversee staffing and other costs to ensure EDs are hitting their budget and achieving desired NOI
- Drive occupancy levels by proactively managing the ED and DON to assist with sales and assessments
- Handle any issues including clinical, dietary, budget overruns, maintenance, activities, etc.
- Visit buildings regularly to ensure they are delivering quality care, controlling costs and adhering to the Playbook
- Ensure buildings are maintaining all clinical regulations and are prepared for State Surveys
- Assume the role of an ED or DON should they become vacant and require someone in the interim
- Build solid relationships with all Executive Directors (ED) and their leadership teams
- Learn about each building and support from a clinical, operational and financial perspective
- Manage and analyze processes, KPIs and clinical data for optimal performance, utilize LMA
- Understand and uphold the policies and procedures established by TCSL??
- Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned??
- Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 pounds and bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and reach and sit for long periods??
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office)??
- Maintain good working relationships with residents and co-workers??
- Demonstrate practical interpersonal skills as well as sound judgment and good decision-making skills??
- Work independently, maintain confidentiality and professionalism, and be a positive leader?? ???????
