Fortis Industries, LLC is interviewing for a full-time Project Manager for a government contract with the Federal Aviation Administration in the Kentucky & Indiana service areas covering multiple sites. The Project Manager will have experience in the Janitorial Service Industry as well as prior team supervisory experience. The Project Manager will report to the Regional Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team to complete routine facility cleaning.
- Create and adhere to monthly and annual periodic services and work schedules.
- Train employees on the work requirements, safety procedures, and other work-related items.
- Maintain asset logs and inventory.
- Order janitorial supplies to ensure each site is stocked sufficiently and track inventory totals.
- Perform additional duties on an "as required" basis within the scope of contractual responsibilities.
- Follow the Performance Work Statement requirements to ensure all contractual obligations are met and attend periodic performance reviews.
- Meet with clients to build a positive rapport and resolve any issues.
- Keep the Regional Operations Manager informed of any operational issues and provide status updates.
- Primary work area is in the greater Kentucky area but must be willing to travel minimally to Indiana to support remote contract sites.
- Five years of personnel management experience.
- A thorough understanding of basic commercial janitorial practices.
- Clean DMV record.
- Understanding of general operational safety standards.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
- Must be computer proficient, with a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
