Production Control Supervisor — Manufacturing

LHH is seeking a Production Control Supervisor to own plant wide production planning, scheduling, and workflow—from raw material staging through fabrication, and final assembly. You’ll be the communication hub between operations, engineering, purchasing, logistics, and quality to keep work moving safely, on time, and to spec.

Compensation: $80,000–$105,000 annually (may be negotiable based on experience)
What you’ll do:- Own plant-wide production planning and scheduling to meet manufacturing and customer deadlines.
- Coordinate job flow across fabrication, machining, welding, finishing, and assembly; resolve bottlenecks and adjust plans to protect on-time delivery.
- Ensure materials, labor, and equipment are staged in alignment with production schedules.
- Maintain accurate ERP/MRP data, inventory levels, and material availability.
- Analyze performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Serve as the communication bridge between the shop floor, engineering, and leadership while leading and mentoring production control staff.
- 3–5 years in production control/manufacturing scheduling/operations, including 2+ years in a lead or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing workflows (cutting/forming, welding, machining,
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP and production planning tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
- Experience with Continuous Improvement/Lean methodologies.
- APICS/ASCM CPIM certification.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and progressive experience in manufacturing scheduling, planning, or production leadership.
- Exceptional organization and scheduling discipline

- Leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
- High visibility role shaping plant performance and delivery outcomes
