Fine Blanking Operator / Clutch Machine Operator General Function:
Proficiently operates fine blanking machines in a process that produces precision blanked metal components.
Duties:This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities that management may deem necessary from time to time.
Working Conditions:Works inside plant where there is a great deal of noise from presses. The work may be dusty, dirty and greasy. Handles sharp edged metal and exposed to chemicals such as oils and cleaning solvents.
Physical Effort:Works on a hard surface; stands, stoops, bends and lifts heavy objects (approximately 50 lbs). Work involves continual movement of hands and arms.
Safety Equipment:Wears safety shoes, glasses, gloves and ear plugs where required.
Qualification Requirements:High School diploma or equivalent; one (1) year of production experience.
AdditionalPreferred Qualifications:
Two (2) years of technical experience in the unit or similar industry.
