Separating Shift Supervisor – Louisville, KY

• Lead hourly team members to attain plant production and quality goals while ensuring the safest working environment possible.
• Manage and own various functions of the business and create an engaged, team‑oriented workforce to improve results.
• Direct all activities related to a production shift to maximize productivity and minimize cost while maintaining safety and quality.
• Supervise an average of 50+ hourly shift employees.
• Conduct supervisory responsibilities: interview, hire, train, plan, assign, appraise performance, reward, discipline, address complaints and resolve problems.
• Allocate labor and resources to meet operational needs, review staffing, and ensure shift transitions are communicated.
• Ensure adherence to production schedule, material usage and output requirements, including compliance with line speeds, set‑ups and materials.
• Support and improve quality initiatives to meet plant goals, acting as liaison between production and quality.
• Implement safety programs effectively and review them regularly.
• Where applicable, comply with SQF and GMP practices, report food safety problems to authority.
• Lead and plan training and safety meetings.
• Enter data into SAP, Kronos, Job Performance and Attendance databases timely.
• Ensure plant equipment operates properly.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of related professional and progressive manufacturing experience.
• Prior team management experience combined with a proven track record of developing, coaching and mentoring a diverse staff preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self‑directed, able to work in a fast‑paced environment with multiple accountabilities.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines.
• Must be team oriented with ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams.

• BA/BS degree in Operations Management, Business or related field preferred.
