Job Description
The Electrician / Panel Builder is responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panels and systems used in automated machinery and industrial equipment. This role combines hands‑on electrical wiring with troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance of automation systems. The ideal candidate has a strong background in control wiring, schematics, and electrical assembly for manufacturing or OEM environments.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to assemble control panels and electrical systems.
- Build and wire industrial control panels, PLC enclosures, and machine control circuits according to engineering specifications.
- Install and integrate electrical components such as relays, circuit breakers, transformers, sensors, and motor controls.
- Connect, terminate, and route wiring and cables for automated machinery and equipment.
- Test and troubleshoot completed panels and systems to ensure functionality and compliance with design standards.
- Support the installation and startup of electrical systems on production machinery and automation lines.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated and electrical systems in a manufacturing environment.
