Responsibilities- Field Quality, COQ & AI Analytics Leadership
- Document Best Practices of Field Quality Engineer position and support training of engineers learning field quality.
- Analyze trends and partner with Design and Manufacturing to identify root cause and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Facilitate communication of customer concerns and AI-derived insights across all functions, including the AP3 dishwasher factory floor.
- Analyze SCR data daily and COQ data weekly, escalating issues as required and tracking resolution effectiveness. This primarily includes SCR, Concessions, & Insurance.
- Analyze system level returns and define root cause and corrective actions.
- Service, Parts, and Customer Interface
- Interface with catalog and service parts teams to ensure correct parts usage and supersedure on the AP3 Dishwasher Plant built product.
- Support creation of customer education materials, including videos and web-based content.
- Damage Returns & AI Analysis
- Analyze Dishwasher damage returns to differentiate factory versus distribution root cause.
- Initiate and lead corrective action projects with Manufacturing, Packaging, Logistics, and Distribution teams.
- Production Reliability & Validation Support
- Analyze data from the Production Reliability Audit Test Lab (PRAT) for Dishwasher products.
- Review PRAT findings with Design and Manufacturing Engineers.
- Escalate PRAT alerts to AP3 Dishwasher Manufacturing and Design Engineering teams and track corrective action closure.
- Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent relevant work experience required.
- 3+ years of plant, high-volume manufacturing, operations, or quality experience.
- Prior experience as a Field Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
- Preferred:
- 7+ years of plant, high-volume manufacturing, operations, or quality experience.
- High initiative, self-starter, results-oriented, and team-focused.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence change.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Experience using AI-enabled analytics tools or demonstrated ability to rapidly adopt advanced data systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel) and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Strong project tracking and execution skills.
- Field Quality or Quality Leadership experience.
- Experience with SCR, warranty, damage, and AI-driven field analytics.
- Desire to work in a manufacturing-focused environment.
- Knowledge of highly automated Dishwasher products or similar high-volume, low-mix assembly processes.
- Office environment with daily factory and shop-floor interaction.
