Challenger Lifts, Inc., a division of Snap-on is seeking a candidate that would be responsible for assembling automotive lifts and lift components as assigned by the Production Supervisor. Starts out at $17.86/hr and attendance incentive. Hours are 5:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Thursday and every other Friday.
Responsibilities
- Assemble automotive lifts and components/accessories
- Assist in implementation of 6S initiatives and activities with emphasis on safety
- Suggest and assist in process improvements which assures quality, efficiency, and safety is built into the process
- Assist in fabrication processes as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- An understanding and ability to use assembly tools
- Capable of reading a tape measure
- Understanding of blueprint reading
- Excellent communication skills. Must be able to communicate at all levels of the organization
- Strong understanding of process interaction
- Strong problem solving skills
- Understanding of general manufacturing
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and work extended hours
- Must be able to periodically lift up to 45 pounds
- Must align with the Snap-on mission statement
- Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which includes;
Hi-Vis Vest, Steel Toe Shoes, Safety Glasses or Prescription Safety Glasses (If Applicable), Gloves (If Applicable), and Ear Plugs (If Applicable). - Must adhere to safety guidelines
