Forklift Driver - Shipping​/Receiving and Distribution Associate; 2nd shift M-F

Role location:
Logan/North Logan, UT; on-site. Reports to the Manager, Distribution and is part of the Receiving Department. This position supports the receiving, storing, picking, staging, and distribution of materials required for assembly/manufacture, with a focus on ethical and safe day-to-day work.

• Move materials physically between locations using handcarts or forklifts, and pick parts/products for shipments with attention to accurate identification and quantity.
• Create and maintain transactional inventory records; maintain packing/shipping activity files; receive/issue material requisitions from internal and external departments.
• Communicate or notify appropriate personnel of shipping or inventory discrepancies; fill kits and deliver to production as required.
• Maintain stocking and inventory objectives; verify cycle counts and conduct related tasks.
• Comply with EHS and Quality System regulations and policies; perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
• Follow Stop Order, Concessions, ESD, Calibration, Preventative Maintenance, Material Identification & Segregation, and Good Documentation Practices related to the role.

• High school diploma or local equivalent, with 2+ years of experience in storing and material handling.
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Must be capable of passing the Department of Transportation Health Exam to operate company vehicle routing materials to and from company and outside warehouses.
• Proficient in basic mathematics; able to work in extreme cold conditions (-20 ̊ C /
  -4 ̊
  
  F) on a regular basis.
• Ability to communicate well and work with others; basic computer skills; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; forklift experience (to be certified).
• Physical/Environment: must consistently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Desirable: experience with Oracle and Master Control; knowledge of computerized material flow methods; basic knowledge of quality and inventory control; prior forklift and weight scale experience.
