** About the role
** As a Manufacturing Engineer at Packsize, you play a key role in strengthening our manufacturing capabilities and supporting the industrialization of innovative, customer-driven packaging solutions. You will work at the intersection of product development, manufacturing, and supply chain, ensuring new and existing products are designed and produced efficiently, cost-effectively, and at the highest quality standards.  You will lead and support industrialization, improvement, and investment projects while continuously optimizing manufacturing and assembly processes in a highly technical, multidisciplinary environment.

** What you’ll do**  + Lead and execute industrialization, improvement, and investment projects for new and existing products  + Analyze and influence product designs early in the development process to ensure manufacturability, assembly efficiency, quality, and cost targets  + Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing and assembly processes using Lean and Six Sigma principles  + Support the transition from product development to manufacturing, including prototype builds and process validation  + Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions  + Initiate and manage engineering changes (ECNs/CNs), assessing their impact on manufacturing, cost, quality, and lifecycle performance  + Collaborate closely with R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and external suppliers  + Monitor and report on project progress, milestones, and results  + Stay current with trends and developments in manufacturing technologies and production methods, sharing insights with stakeholders  
** What you’ll need**  + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field  + Fluent in English (written and spoken)  + Several years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering, industrialization, or process engineering  + Strong knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes, preferably in a high-mix or engineered-to-order environment  + Proven experience applying Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt required)  + Ability to influence product and process design decisions through technical expertise  + Strong project management skills and experience working in cross-functional teams  + Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills  + Clear and convincing communication skills in a multidisciplinary environment  
** What’s nice to have**  + Experience in capital investment projects and production line design  + Exposure to full product lifecycle management, from concept to end-of-life  +
