Job Summary:

The General Laborer will perform a variety of tasks within our manufacturing facility, contributing to the production of high-quality vinyl windows and doors. This role is crucial to our operations, ensuring that materials are handled efficiently, workstations are maintained, and production goals are met in a safe and timely manner. The ideal candidate is dependable, willing to learn, and committed to contributing to a team environment dedicated to quality.

• Assist in various stages of the window and door manufacturing process as directed by the Production Supervisor.
• Handle and move materials, components, and finished products within the manufacturing facility.
• Operate basic hand tools and machinery under supervision, following all safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, contributing to a safe and efficient production environment.
• Perform quality checks on components and finished products to ensure they meet Vinyl Kraft’s standards.
• Assist with packaging and preparing products for shipment.
• Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor or Management.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or general labor role is a plus, but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of hand and power tools is beneficial.
• Strong work ethic and a dependable attendance record.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Commitment to safety and quality.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position.

This position operates in a manufacturing plant environment. The employee may be exposed to noise, dust, and varying temperatures. Appropriate safety gear and measures are in place to protect employees.

Ability to stand for extended periods (typically 8-hour shifts).

Ability to lift and carry materials, typically up to 50 pounds.

Requires bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and reaching.

Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
