- Influences key associates to promote participation and cooperation in process development/improvement initiatives.
- Ensures conformance with and application of policies and procedures.
- Designs, deploys and validates new manufacturing processes and techniques.
- Responsible for smooth product production/constant production flow.
- Responsible for product qualification processes.
- Conducts product and process FMEA analysis.
- Create, document and implement procedures for meltblown, converting and packaging processes.
- Re-engineers operations and manufacturing processes.
- Designs, installs and debugs tooling and new capital equipment.
- Designs, evaluates and implements automated systems for inspection, manufacturing and data acquisition.
- Responsible for continuous improvement activities.
- Develops training systems and support documentation for associates.
- Drives cost reduction and scrap reduction initiatives by identifying projects for manufacturability improvements..
- Other duties as assigned.
