- Supervise 46 hourly personnel across sheetfed, die-cutting/embossing, folding and gluing, and KEM playing card converting areas across all shifts
- Develop subordinates through coaching, mentoring, informal training, and formal training
- Achieve safety, quality, cost, productivity, throughput, delivery, and production schedule metrics
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and/or Total Quality Management methodologies
- Focus continuous improvement on 5S/Visual Management, Total Productive Maintenance, Safety, and Total Quality (V.E.S.T. program)
- Organize staffing based on daily production requirements and ensure qualified team members are scheduled
- Coordinate daily with peers on Printing Department assignments
- Liaise with Scheduling and Sales to maintain on-time delivery performance above 99%
- Make quality recommendations and decisions regarding quality holds, excessive scrap, and delivered product quality
- Use SAP and Microsoft Office Suite to record production information, material transfers, and supply inventories
- Work primarily Monday-Friday, first shift; assigned personnel work varying Monday-Friday shifts
- Travel occasionally, less than 10% of the time
- Perform other duties as assigned
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in Operations Management, Organizational Leadership and/or Engineering
- Working knowledge in Lean Manufacturing/Toyota Production System
- Working knowledge in Six Sigma methodologies
- Working knowledge in Total Quality Management Systems
- Demonstrated leadership experience responsible for coaching and developing others
- Team player mindset

- Ability to help and/or lead cross-functional teams
- Strong communication skills, including in-person, phone, and email communication
- Intermediate knowledge of SAP, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
- Advanced knowledge and proficiency required to help subordinates troubleshoot issues
- Ability to work overtime or occasionally on weekends with short notice
- Must be 18 years old
- Authorized to work in the U.S.; no sponsorship available
Demonstrates expertise in Operations Management and Lean Manufacturing, with a strong focus on continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma and Total Quality Management. Proven ability to lead and develop teams while achieving production metrics and maintaining high-quality standards.
