Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 2 nd shift Production/Sanitation team member to join our Liquid Egg Products team in Fort Recovery.

SHIFT

HOURS:

Monday through Friday 2:30pm-11:00pm (potentially 4:30pm-1:00am in the future)

STARTING HOURLY RATE : $18.75 with the potential of increasing $19.60 after 90 days.

ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

All training will be provided for this entry level position. Job functions include:

Loader/Material Handler:

• Lifting stacks of flats of eggs on to the loader conveyor efficiently
• Disposing of inedible product in correct containers when needed.

Candler:

• Being able to recognize and remove any dirt’s, rotten, blood and leaking eggs.

Breaker:

• Being able to recognize and remove any shells or blood in the cups.

Scanner:

• Being able to recognize and remove any eggs that could create contamination (dirt’s, leaker, blood, rot).

Sanitation:

• Being responsible for completing and documenting the duties outlined on the Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Scheduled Cleaning.
• Being responsible for labeling, mixing, handling and proper usage of cleaning chemicals.
• Being responsible for wearing proper PPE when using chemicals or cleaning supplies.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods of time and climb ladders and stairs when necessary
