Position Type:
Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Schedule:
Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Starting Pay: $16/hr with a performance-based increase to $18/hr within the first 6 months

Job Description:We are hiring for a full-time RAM Press Pottery Operator to join our production team. This position involves operating and maintaining a hydraulic RAM press to create ceramic forms such as dinnerware and other pieces using custom dies and molds.
Key Responsibilities:- Set up and operate the RAM press, including positioning and clamping dies, preparing clay, and running press controls.
- Prepare and size clay to proper specifications, ensuring consistency for pressing.
- Inspect ware for defects and accuracy in thickness, making adjustments as needed.
- Maintain molds and dies by sponging, cleaning, and ensuring proper function.
- Manufacturing experience in a fast-paced environment. (Preferred, but training is provided)
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.
- Technical/mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
- Ability to stand for long periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift/maneuver heavy materials.
