Advanced Production Assembler – 1st Shift M-Th 6am-4:30pm $20/hr Who We Are

As an Advanced Production Assembler (Rigging), you play a critical role in preparing our machines for final operation and delivery. The work you do setting up and tearing down equipment ensures machines are built to customer specifications and ready for performance validation. Your mechanical skill, attention to detail, and commitment to safety directly impact quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

As an Advanced Production Assembler (Rigging), you will:

• Set up and tear down Lantech machines per customer specifications
• Collect and stage components from multiple departments for machine builds
• Run cables and gain exposure to electrical components and systems
• Read and use a tape measure accurately
• Use a variety of hand and power tools
• Push carts and operate cranes for lifting and positioning equipment
• Operate a fork truck and lift loads up to 50 pounds
• Stand for extended periods (9–10 hours per day)
• Follow standardized work instructions to meet Lantech quality standards
• Collaborate with team members to complete work efficiently and on time

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Mechanical and/or electrical assembly experience or background
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read and follow standardized work instructions in English
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and electrical labels
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to complete tasks within established time frames
  
  Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Good attendance and reliability
• Willingness to obtain Lantech Marklift and Fork Truck certification
• Ability to climb ladders, bend, and work underneath structures
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and solve problems
• Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment

• Experience with machine setup, rigging, or equipment assembly
• Exposure to electrical systems or cable routing
• Demonstrated problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and decision‑making abilities
• High level of attention to detail and manual dexterity
