The Production Supervisor position is responsible for supervising employees in a manufacturing and assembly environment. This position plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions. The Production Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a safe work environment and compliance with company safety policies.

This position manages all employees of their designated area and is responsible for the performance of the employees within their designated area of responsibility.

Designated First Responder to provide aid and assistance with respect to any accidents or injuries in your area. Additionally, as a First Responder and due to the nature of the work in the production area, potential exists for cleaning up blood and other potentially infectious material with provided clean-up kits.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to sheet metal sharp edges, moving mechanical parts and vibration. Accordingly, the employee must always wear proscribed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), to include at a minimum cut-resistant sleeves, steel-toed safety shoes or boots, and safety glasses. Additionally, the noise level in the work environment can be excessive at times.

The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

This is a full-time position. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
