Shipping Clerk

The Shipping Clerk coordinates outbound shipments, processes customer orders, receives incoming materials, maintains shipping documentation, and supports inventory accuracy. This position works closely with the warehouse, production, customer service, and logistics teams to ensure products ship safely, accurately, and on time.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders and prepare packing slips, bills of lading, and shipment documentation.
• Receive incoming materials and verify quantities and documentation accuracy.
• Schedule carriers and coordinate transportation requirements.
• Work with warehouse and production personnel to ensuretimelyorder fulfillment.
• Maintainaccurateshipping and receiving records.
• Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies and customer concerns.
• Support inventory control, cycle counts, and process improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Shipping, warehouse,logistics, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and shipping software.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Safety & Compliance Requirements

• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and PPE standards.
• Complete required safety training and certifications, including forklift certification when required.
• Report hazards, incidents, injuries, and near misses immediately.
• Conduct required equipment inspections and follow safe operating procedures.
• Participate in safety meetings, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Safety is a condition of employment and an essentialjobresponsibility.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, andlift upto 50 pounds. Ability to work safely in a manufacturing and warehouse environment around moving equipment and material handling vehicles.

Manufacturing and warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, forklifts, trailers, and production equipment. Required use of personal protective equipment asdesignatedby company policy.
