Extrusion Operator 1st Shift

Our client, an industrial manufacturing environment, is seeking a Extrusion Operator 1st Shift to join their team. As a Extrusion Operator 1st Shift, you will be part of the Production team supporting day-to-day manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, a focus on quality, and the drive to keep production running efficiently while making continual adjustments to extrusion equipment.

** Days (07:00-15:00)

** What's the Job?*
* + Produce orders to schedule to satisfy customer needs and production requirements

+ Perform production execution of product labeling and production entry

+ Complete all required quality inspections, testing, and documentation

+ Perform routine preventative maintenance

+ Comply with company standards regarding housekeeping

** What's Needed?*
* + Ability to operate plastic extrusion equipment safely and consistently

+ Comfort making continual adjustments to gauges that control extruder speed, temperatures, pressures, and winder speeds

+ Willingness to follow all safety rules and procedures at all times

+ Ability to complete required quality inspections, testing, and documentation accurately

+ Physical readiness for frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting weights over 40 lbs
